Cautioning that a few sections were attempting to sow discord among religious communities, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said all religions must stand united to develop Telangana.
“The government is seeking your blessings,” Revanth Reddy asserted at the Iftaar party hosted at LB Stadium here on Sunday. The Congress government accorded top priority to the welfare and development of the Muslim community in
the State.
Mohammed Azharuddin was made a Minister, senior leader Shabbir Ali was appointed Government Advisor and Corporation posts were allotted to eight minority leaders. During the rule of former Chief Minister late YS Rajashekhara Reddy in the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh, four per cent reservations were extended to minorities. This helped them gain access to education and employment, he said.
