Revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy directed collectors of four districts to swiftly address the land-related grievances submitted during the revenue meetings held as part of Bhu Bharati pilot project implementation. He was speaking during a video conference with the collectors of Mulugu, Kamareddy, Khammam and Narayanpet districts, on Monday, where the Bhu Bharati pilot project was implemented in four mandals.

Srinivas Reddy instructed officials to carefully review the applications received in the four mandals, Maddur, Lingampet, Venkatapoor, and Nelakondapally and resolve them by May-end. He said that farmers will no longer need to run around courts, as their land-related problems will be resolved at the revenue office itself. The officials will visit the people and solve their land issues without

any cost to them.

The minister instructed that any applications which need to be rejected should be thoroughly examined and decided upon with care. He also suggested that applications should be processed online. From today, an online registration facility has been made available for Tahsildars, he said. Srinivas Reddy also instructed revenue principal secretary Naveen Mittal, who attended the meeting, to arrange for skilled personnel from other areas to assist in the review of applications.

In relation to Indiramma houses, the minister stated that the eligible lists should be sent to the respective district in-charge ministers for approval. He asked officials to start the construction of houses as quickly as possible.
