Residents to hold Musi Dandi March against Gandhi Sarovar Project on March 1

Residents of several colonies that are to be affected as part of the Gandhi Sarovar Project are organising a protest, ‘Musi Dandi March’ on Sunday. 

The BRS working president, KT Rama Rao, will take part in the march at Hydershakote.

The property owners of Madhu Park Ridge apartments, in a statement on Saturday, said this would be a peaceful citizens’ movement for justice,



transparency and constitutional governance. 

All the residents living on either side of the Musi River were invited to participate in large numbers and stand united at the gathering, they said.

The organisers described the gathering as a symbol of unity, respect, and the strength of democracy, and urged people to raise their voices for development that was lawful, transparent, and humane.
