As many as 150 BT roads damaged due to recent rains will be repaired from second week of October. Tenders for these roads costing about `30 crore were invited the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) which would be finalised on October 7.
GHMC commissioner B Janardhan Reddy, held a teleconference on Friday with officials, asking them to take up the works. He  told them that priority will be given

to quality besides maintaining timelines. The commissioner added that officials should ensure feedback from citizens about the quality of works being executed as well as address concerns of commuters about the dust menace in the aftermath of heavy rains. Janardhan told officials that road work from Tolichowki to Gachibowli is being unnecessarily delayed and instructed them to resolve the issue immediately.
