Rename BRS schemes if you want, but continue them for people’s benefit: KTR tells Revanth

BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Wednesday asked the Congress government to continue welfare schemes launched during the previous BRS regime for the benefit of people, even if it wanted to rename them. 

He emphasised that notwithstanding the change in the ruling party, the government should not ignore its duties and must also ensure benefits of good initiatives



reach people.

Participating in the distribution of free spectacles under the Kanti Velugu programme at Veernapalli in Rajanna-Sircilla district, Rama Rao said the Congress government could implement the schemes under new names, but should ensure that the benefits reach people. 

“You can change the names, but continue the programmes,” he said.
