Remand prisoner escapes from Siddipet hospital

An inmate of the Siddipet District Jail escaped from police custody at the Government General Hospital in Siddipet on Saturday.

Jail authorities had sent seven inmates to the hospital for a regular



health check-up when Sai Kumar, an accused in a bike-lifting case, escaped from the premises.

The incident has left police and jail authorities shocked, and a manhunt has been launched to trace the accused.
