Remand Prisoner Escapes from Mahabubnagar District Jail

The accused, identified as Kishore Kumar, was in custody in connection with a POCSO case. He reportedly escaped around 4 a.m.



while working in the prison canteen. 

Upon learning about the incident, Jogulamba Zone DIG L.S. Chauhan visited the jail and initiated an inquiry into the lapse. 

Efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the absconding prisoner.
