Remains of martyr Lance Naik Purama Goparaju reach Hyderabad

The mortal remains of Lance Naik Purama Goparaju, who died in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, arrived in Hyderabad on Tuesday evening.

Lance Naik Goparaju of the 6 Madras Regiment had exhibited unwavering commitment and indomitable courage in the line of duty, a statement said.

His mortal remains were



received at the Military Hospital in Secunderabad, where a wreath-laying ceremony will be organised early on Wednesday. The remains be taken to his hometown, Pallekola, Bhattiprolu tehsil in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, where he will be accorded a funeral with military honours.
