Refrigerator explosion triggers fire at house in Sanathnagar

A fire broke out at a house in Sanathnagar in the early hours of Thursday after a refrigerator reportedly exploded, officials said. No casualties were reported.

According to reports, the incident occurred in a residence located in Raja Nagar, Sanathnagar. The occupants said they heard a loud explosion from the refrigerator, which was immediately followed by a



fire.

Upon receiving the alert, the fire department rushed a fire tender to the spot. Disaster Response Force (DRF) teams also reached the location and assisted in containing the situation.

Officials said a suspected compressor explosion in the refrigerator might have triggered the fire. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause.
