Red Alert for North Telangana as Temperatures May Hit 45°C

A red alert for north Telangana was issued informing that severe heatwave 2.0 from tomorrow in several parts of the State with temperatures are expected to touch 45°C during April 24 to 29, according to Telangana Weatherman. 

“Dear people of Telangana, get ready for severe heatwave 2.0 from tomorrow with temperatures to touch 45°C in 19 districts during April 24-29,” Telangana Weatherman posted on ‘X’ on



Thursday.

The temperatures are likely to cross 43-44°C during the same period in nine districts. However, Hyderabad will be under an intense heatwave from tomorrow with temperatures to touch 43°C at a few places till April29. 

“There will be heat induced isolated storms which won't provide any significant respite, just increasing humidity. Stay alert, stay safe,” he added.
