Rapido Rider Helps Dundigal Police Bust Drug Racket

A vigilant Rapido bike rider played a crucial role in helping the Dundigal police bust an illegal drug racket operating in the area, leading to the arrest of a key drug peddler in the district. 

Commending the driver, Sattu Adarsh, for his alertness and exemplary sense of civic responsibility, Qutbullapur Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) N. Kotireddy, felicitated him with a shawl and presented him with a cash reward.

As per reports, on May 31st, when Rupesh Kumar, a resident of Bihar, booked a parcel delivery through the app-based ride-hailing and logistics



platform from Medchal to Gandimaisamma. During the delivery, the rider, Sattu Adarsh, grew suspicious about the contents of the package due to the customer's behavior. 

He opened the parcel and discovered that it contained ganja. Without delay, he alerted the Dundigal police and handed over the package to them. 

Upon examination, the police confirmed that the parcel contained ganja and launched an investigation. Based on the information, the police officials intercepted a drug network in Dundigal and arrested the accused involved in the illegal trade.
