A flag march was conducted by the Rapid Action Force (RAF) through various parts of the old city on Monday. The march, according to officials, was conducted in view of the forthcoming Ramzan and Bonalu festivals and the purpose was to instill a safe and secure feeling amongst the public.

About 83 RAF personnel took part in the flag march that passed through areas including Engine Bowli, Quadri Chaman, Venkateshwara Temple, Shivaji



Nagar, Aliabad, Lal Darwaza Temple and Nawab Saheb Kunta under the Falaknuma, Shahalibanda and Chatrinaka police station limits
South Zone Additional DCP K.Babu Rao said the personnel marched in the areas ahead of the festival as a gesture to inform the locals that their safety and security was assured. South Zone police officials including inspectors of Falaknuma, Shahalibanda and Chatrinaka took part in the flag march.
