Rains lashes Hyderabad under impact of Cyclone Montha

Under the impact of cyclonic storm Montha, several parts of Hyderabad and outskirts have been receiving rains of varying intensity since Tuesday evening.

Some parts of the city were lashed with occasional heavy rains while some others had sustained drizzles.

Moderate to



heavy rain was in store for Gachibowli, Lingampalli, Chintal, Budvel and Attapur among other places.

Meanwhile, the IMD Hyderabad units forecast had issued an orange alert for several districts in Telangana including Kothagudem, Hanamkonda, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Vikarabad, and Suryapet.
