Rahul directs TPCC prez Uttam to launch poll campaign in Telangana

Hyderabad: Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi has directed TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy to launch campaign for next Assembly elections in Telangana State.

Uttam Kumar Reddy, along with AICC Secretary R.C. Khuntia, met Rahul Gandhi at New Delhi on Wednesday. According to sources,



the TPCC chief briefed Rahul Gandhi on various activities undertaken by the Congress party in the State and also explained the future plans.

Rahul Gandhi has reportedly endorsed Khuntia's stand that Uttam Kumar Reddy would lead the Congress party in Telangana till next elections.
