Over the past month, the Rachakonda She Teams apprehended 240 individuals, including 80 minors, for harassing women at various locations across the Commissionerate. During this period, 18 criminal cases and 122 petty cases were registered, while 110 individuals received counselling.
Officials stated that complaints were received from multiple sources—directly, via WhatsApp, and through social media—from hotspots such as metro trains, stations, bus stops, workplaces, and colleges across Rachakonda between May 1 and 31.

According to She Teams officials, among the 240 individuals apprehended, 80 were minors who received specialised counselling from senior psychologists. Additionally, 10 individuals were caught during decoy operations at various locations, including metro trains, and fines were imposed.
Meanwhile, the Rachakonda Police, in cooperation with self-help groups, conducted awareness programmes on the negative impacts of child marriages, resulting in the prevention of two such marriages.
