As part of the Operation Muskan – VII drive in Rachakonda, five minor boys engaged in child labour were rescued in Kushaiguda, Chaitanyapuri and Kandukur on Wednesday.

In the first incident, the Kushaiguda division She Team rescued a minor boy who was found engaged in child labour at a bike accessories shop in AS Rao Nagar. Following a tip-off, the She Team along with Child Welfare Department officials reached the spot and found the minor boy in his early teens working in the shop under unhygienic conditions.
e was counseled and handed over to his



parents. 

The shop owner was counseled and warned of legal action for engaging children for work.

In another incident, the She Team from LB Nagar division rescued three minor boys found working at Adarsh Motors and Balaji Motors at Telephone Colony in Chaitanyapuri. They were counseled and handed over to the Child Welfare Department for safe custody.

One more minor boy was rescued from an interiors and wood works shop by the Ibrahimpatnam She Team at Kothaguda in Kandukur. He was handed over to the Child Welfare officials.
