Preparations are in full swing for the BRS’ silver jubilee celebrations to be held at the Comerica Centre in Dallas on June 1.
Party working president KT Rama Rao already left Hyderabad and reached London to attend locally arranged programmes, before heading to the US and participate in the event, marking 25 years of BRS’ political journey and Telangana Formation Day.
BRS NRI global coordinator Mahesh Bigala and BRS NRI USA advisory board chairman Mahesh Tanneeru, who are overseeing the arrangements, visited the venue on Wednesday.
They have been holding
preparatory meetings across the US over the past two weeks to mobilise support, with enthusiastic participation from the diaspora.
Telugu NRIs have been requested to arrive at the venue by 4 pm on June 1.
The team, including Srinivas Surakunti, Abhilash Rangineni, Putta Vishnuvardhan Reddy and others, inspected arrangements for the stage, food and parking. They expect a large turnout, with current MLAs, former Ministers and MLCs set to attend the event.
