Popular poet and writer Andesri passes away at 64

Popular poet and writer Andesri passed away on Monday morning while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital. He was 64.

He fell sick after his health deteriorated around midnight on Sunday. He collapsed at his house in Lalaguda, and his family members immediately shifted him to Gandhi Hospital.

He breathed



his last at around 7.30 am, the doctors said, according to reports.

Andesri, a noted poet, was born in Rebarthi in Jangaon and his actual name was Ande Yellaiah. He is survived by three daughters and a son. Despite having no formal schooling, he emerged as a popular poet and writer, and was awarded a doctorate by Kakatiya University.
