Revenue, Housing and Information Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Saturday said that “Praja Darbars” are being organized across the state to resolve public grievances at the grassroots level in a time-bound and transparent manner.
As part of the Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika initiative, a Praja Darbar was conducted in the Paleru constituency under the Rayigudem cluster on Saturday. The Minister directly interacted with residents from multiple gram panchayats.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister said the government has identified Paleru as a model constituency
to implement this initiative, which will later be expanded across Telangana.
He noted that common issues such as drinking water, electricity, and land-related concerns under Dharani are being addressed through these platforms.
He emphasized that the core objective of Praja Darbars, envisioned by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, is to build public trust by resolving people’s problems efficiently. “Some issues can be resolved immediately, while others may take a week, a month, or even three months. The priority is to identify and resolve every genuine grievance,” he said.
