Police warn transgenders over Unruly acts on Srisailam Highway

Unruly behaviour by some transgender persons on the Srisailam National Highway has become a regular nuisance.

Several motorists have recently complained that every day from 6 pm to midnight, several transgender persons standing on the roadside indulge in obscene acts, causing



embarrassment to families travelling on the route.

Following complaints, the Pahadishareef police reached the spot and detained a few individuals on Tuesday night.

Officials warned that cases would be booked if such behaviour was repeated on the highway.
