Police to set up 35 check posts during Bakrid in Hyderabad

The Police Department has decided to set up 35 check-posts within the city and outskirts. 

The cattle traders have been asked to produce valid documents for transporting the cattle into Hyderabad and Cyberabad Commissionerate limits. 

As part of measures to be taken up for preventing any group clash or mob



violence, the police officials in coordination with the GHMC, have geared up for the smooth conduct of Ganesh festival and Bakri-Id festivities.

At a meeting held here on Wednesday, the officials decided to ensure peaceful conduct of Bakri-Id festivities on September 12 and Ganesh festivities culmination on September 15.
