Police Raid at Rowdy Sheeter Zafar Pehalwan home in Yakutpura

Special teams comprising 60 police officers conducted raids on notorious rowdy sheeter Zafar Pehalwan and his associates and seized multiple illegal weapons from his house in Yakutpura. 

The raid that was conducted in the early hours of Wednesday was based on a tip-off and a part of an investigation into Zafar’s nephew Junaid -Bin Bharmoos, who was murdered by Zafar's son and his associates on December 3, police



said.

Apart from the rowdy sheeter Zafar’s house, police teams also conducted raids on his two sons’ houses. 

We carried out the operation as part of intensified action against rowdyism and criminal elements, Kiran Khara, DCP south zone, said. 

During the searches, our teams recovered multiple illegal knives and documents related to suspected illegal properties, Kiran said.
