Police conducted raids on adulterated paneer manufacturing units in the city, uncovering large-scale food safety violations.

During the inspections, officials checked 45 food outlets and eight manufacturing units, seizing 825 kg of adulterated paneer along with other food items and

cheese.

Several units were found operating without valid licences. Authorities revealed that traders were preparing paneer using starch, non-milk fats, synthetic milk, and other substandard materials.

Action is being initiated against those involved for endangering public health.
