Police officer Car went on a rampage at Pathur village in Medak on Monday, hitting a two-wheeler and a school bus.
While the bike rider suffered a fracture to his leg, children in the bus escaped with minor injuries.
Locals said the bus, belonging to a private school, was heading towards Medak town after picking up children from nearby villages when a car coming from the opposite
direction hit the bike and later struck the bus.
The bike rider had been entering the main road from an approach road when the speeding car collided with him.
The school bus driver swerved and stopped in time, preventing a serious collision. The car, bearing registration number TS 35H 0895 and reportedly owned by a police officer, had “police” written on both the front and rear windscreens.
