Hyderabad CCS, along with Gandhinagar police, apprehended four persons including a minor for their involvement in a series of two‑wheeler thefts across the city. Ten stolen vehicles were recovered from their possession.
The accused were identified as Mohammed Riyaz, Syed Ahmed Ali, Mohammed Fardeen, all aged 18, and a 17‑year‑old juvenile, residents of MM Pahadi and nearby areas. Police said they targeted two‑wheelers parked in different
localities.
Based on credible information, the Special Crime Team tracked their movements, including activity on Instagram, and apprehended them at MM Pahadi in Attapur. During interrogation, they confessed to 10 thefts in Balanagar, Gandhi Nagar, Kollur, and Attapur police limits.
The recovered vehicles include eight scooters and two motorcycles. Police said the accused sold or used the vehicles for personal purposes. Further investigation is underway to identify additional offences.
