Police announce rules for firecracker sales in Cyberabad, Rachakonda

The Cyberabad and Rachakonda Police Commissionerates have issued separate notifications for individuals and businesses intending to sell or possess firecrackers on a temporary basis for Diwali 2025.

Accordingly, applicants must obtain licences under the Explosives Act, 1884, and the Explosives Rules, 1983 (amended in



2008).

Licences will be issued by the Zonal Deputy Commissioners of Police.

Applications must be submitted online only at cyberabadpolice.gov.in on or before October 16.

Any violation of the Act or Rules will attract strict penal action.
