Pizza Hut Staff Assaults Zomato Delivery Boy Over Low Ratings In Hyderabad

A Zomato delivery boy was allegedly assaulted by a staff member of a Pizza Hut over a dispute on customer rating in Hyderabad.

The incident, which was captured on the restaurant’s CCTV camera, took place on Sunday. Police have initiated an investigation into the case after a complaint filed by the delivery



boy.

According to the complaint, the delivery boy was assaulted when he visited the Pizza Hut outlet for a pickup.  

Media quoted the complaint stating that the staff confronted the delivery boy, claiming that a recent low customer rating had affected the restaurant’s online image and accusing him of being responsible for it.
