Parents Fume as Hostel Students Made to Cook in Nalgonda

A video of students preparing chapatis and puris at a hostel in Nalgonda district has gone viral on social media, triggering criticism from parents and student unions. 

According to reports, the students are from the Damaracherla Welfare Hostel in Nalgonda district. 

The video has sparked concerns over students being made to



perform cooking-related duties at the hostel. Parents have expressed severe anguish over the principal and other staff, alleging that despite salaries being paid to the hostel staff, students are being made to carry out such duties. 

They have demanded that the authorities take immediate action and ensure that students are not assigned such work.
