Rail traffic on the Secunderabad–Guntur route was disrupted on Thursday morning after the Palnadu Express struck a bullock near Tippammagudem in Thipparthy mandal of Nalgonda district.
According to railway officials, the animal got lodged under the wheels of the train, forcing it to come to a halt.
The incident led to delays in multiple services, including the Tirupati Vande
Bharat Express, Janmabhoomi Superfast Express, and Intercity Superfast Express.
Railway personnel rushed to the spot and initiated necessary measures to clear the obstruction.
Officials stated that the Palnadu Express would resume its journey only after a thorough safety inspection to ensure there were no technical issues. Efforts were underway to restore normal train operations along the route.
