OU refuses to permit Rahul Gandhi on campus

Hyderabad: The Osmania University has declined permission for Congress Party president, Rahul Gandhi’s planned visit to the campus on August 14.

The university in response to a request made by student organisations for the visit cited security



issues as Rahul Gandhi is under special security coverage for its decision to decline permission.

The Congress president is visiting the city for two days, August 13 and 14, and plans were drawn up for his visit to the OU on the second day of his visit.
