The delay by the Osmania University (OU) in announcing the undergraduate examination results has hit the law admissions for the academic year 2026-27 in the State.

Due to non-availability of degree marks memos, which is one among several mandatory documents that are to be uploaded for admissions, the Telangana Law Common Entrance Test (TG LAWCET) 2026 schedule has been revised for the second consecutive time in the last 10 days.

As per the first Telangana Law Common Entrance Test (TG LAWCET) 2026 schedule, registration and uploading of

certificates for online verification for admissions to the three-year law degree course was scheduled between July 5 and 10.

However, due to non-availability of the degree certificate before the deadline of July 10, the registrations were first extended to July 20. This decision was taken as the OU had assured to release the results by July 15.

Even as the revised registration deadline approached, the University failed to release the results. This forced officials to extend the registration and certificate-uploading process for the second time till July 28.
