The two-day international conference on “Reimagining English Language Teaching in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Bridging Language, Literature, Technology, and Global Employability” concluded at Osmania University (OU). The conference discussed the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in English Language Teaching and research.
Speaking on the occasion, OSD to OU Vice
Chancellor, Prof S Jithender Kumar Naik said conferences on AI are generally conducted by engineering, technology, and science departments, but a conference on integrating language and AI conducted by the Department of English is unique, contemporary, and the need of the hour.
The conference saw 88 paper presentations, including 28 outstation presenters representing nine different States across India.
