Orange Alert For Telangana Districts Amid Heavy Rainfall

In Telangana, heavy rain lashed several districts, including Hyderabad, under the influence of Montha. Nagarkurnool and Nalgonda districts have been experiencing very heavy rainfall since yesterday.

Nagarkurnool recorded the highest of 167.3 mm of rainfall till 5 this morning, while Nalgonda recorded 131.3 mm of rainfall. Wanaparthy,



Rangareddy, and Suryapet also recorded heavy rainfall during the same time. Several places in Hyderabad received heavy rain overnight.

Met officials have issued an orange alert of very heavy rainfall for 12 districts in Telangana for today and tomorrow, and the state is likely to receive widespread rainfall as the storm moves inland.
