Oil marketing companies (OMCs) said that demand for petrol and diesel had moderated and was now comparable to pre-war levels.
LPG refill bookings had also declined significantly, as panic-driven bookings by consumers had fallen considerably. Currently, approximately 2.18 lakh domestic LPG cylinders are being delivered daily in Telangana, as compared to the pre-war average of 2.15 lakh cylinders per day, the OMCs said and declared it
sufficient to meet current demand.
According to the state-level coordinator for OMCs, the supply situation was being closely monitored and necessary measures had been undertaken to streamline logistics and expedite deliveries.
OMCs were in continuous coordination with the state government to address operational issues and ensure smooth and uninterrupted supply of petrol, diesel, and LPG.
