Notification for new districts to be released on Oct 11

Govt. of Telangana is likely to issue notification for the formation of new districts on 11th October. It seems the number of districts is not going to exceed 31. Senior officials have been directed to formulate their strategy within these limits.

It is hoped that after the cabinet meeting, CM



will declare the status of the Govt. for the formation of new district. High Level Committee headed by Dr. K. Keshav Rao, MP has almost completed negotiations with political leaders. As per the instructions of CM, new districts, revenue divisions and mandals will start functioning on Dasera.
