The YSR Congress Party MLAs from Kurnool district have rubbished the rumors that they were joining the ruling TDP. The YSRCP MLAs, rushed to Hyderabad and met party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy at the Lotus Pond party office on Saturday.

MLAs S V Mohan Reddy, Gouru Sucharitha, Jayaramulu, Budda  Rajashekar Reddy and Ijayya were present before the party supremo at the meeting.

Speaking to the media later, SV Mohan Reddy said the news about their changing the party was utterly false and the rumors are being spread to divert the people’s attention from the TDP misrule. They said they had won the elections on YSRCP ticket and would remain with it under any circumstances. They said they have complete trust on their party Chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

campaigning against the YSRCP. “This is nothing but “mind game” of Chief Minister N Chandrababy Naidu. Naidu was day in and day out was unleashing misinformation campaign against the YSRCP to bring about insecurity problem in the Opposition party. Did the ruling party fulfil even one promise made on the eve of last Assembly election? The TDP in Telangana State is almost extinct. The media should not dance to the tunes of the ruling party. We have great respect towards the media, which should uphold its dignity”,  he added.
