Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday announced that the State government was fully prepared to commence registration of non-agriculture properties through Dharani, the one-stop portal for land transactions and management. He instructed the authorities concerned to be fully prepared to begin the registrations from November 25 once the High Court vacates the stay orders during its hearing scheduled on November 23.

In a statement, the Chief Minister made it clear that property values in both urban and rural areas should be fixed and uploaded onto the website in advance. He also made it clear that no authority will be given any discretionary powers to change the property values under any circumstance.

“The State government clarified on all the issues raised

in the court. As the case hearing on the stay orders is posted for November 23, we should be ready to start the registration process from November 25,” he said.

The registration of non-agriculture properties through Dharani portal was scheduled to be launched on November 23. The authorities, however, decided to postpone it in the wake of the stay imposed by the High Court after cases were filed on the procedures being followed in property registrations.

The officials have already completed all arrangements for the launch of the registration of non-agriculture properties through Dharani. The registration of agriculture properties was launched by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on October 29 this year.
