No water supply in several parts of Hyderabad on Dec 27

Water supply will be disrupted in some parts of the city for 36 hours from 6 am on December 27 to 6 pm on December 28 due to repair works being taken up on pipelines.

The areas affected by the disruption include Mir Alam, Kishan Bagh, Balsetty Khet, Moghalpura, Falaknuma, Bahadurpura, Jahanuma, Mahbuob Mansion, Santosh Nagar, Vinay Nagar, Saidabad, Chanchalguda, Asmangadh, Yakutpura, Bogulakunta, Narayanguda, Adikmet



Reservoir, Shivam Reservoir, Chilakalguda Reservoir, Aliabad Reservoir, Riyasat Nagar Reservoir, certain areas in Dilsukhnagar, Hardware Park, Jalpally, Tukkuguda, Fab City and Manneguda.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), in a press release on Thursday, said the repair works were being taken up to address a leak in the 700 mm diameter MS pipeline at the surge tank of Krishna Phase-1.
