Huzurabad BJP MLA Etala Rajendar said there was no truth in the allegations of land encroachments by his family-owned Jamuna Hatcheries at Atchampet and Hakimpet villages of Masaipet Mandal in Medak district.

Stating that officials would never register lands without following the guidelines properly, Rajendar, speaking to the media on the sidelines of a BJP training session held here on Monday, said he was ready for any punishment if the officials prove his family had encroached even a single acre of land.

Accusing IAS and IPS officers of being puppets in the hands of the TRS government, he called upon them not to behave like loyalists of the ruling

party since they were in constitutional posts.

Meanwhile, the BJP MLA’s wife Eatala Jamuna too called for a press conference and said legal action would be initiated against the District Collector for making false allegations in the media with malafide intention.

“The officials did not intimate us about the extent of our lands in the villages where they conducted land survey. Instead, the Collector is mouthing blatant lies. While we have just 8.36 acres in the said survey numbers, he is alleging that we illegally occupied 70.33 acres which is a false accusation,” she said.
