Nizamabad rural MLA Bajireddy Govardhan tested corona positive on Sunday. From the last four days he has been suffering with fever and officials conducted Covid-19 tests which turned out positive. Both the MLA and his wife shifted to Hyderabad for treatment.
On Saturday, the MLA participated
in inauguration of 2BHK housing and patta distribution programme at Bibipur Thanda of Dichpally mandal. MLC VG Goud and nearly 100 officials and beneficiaries took part in these programmes. District officials are now trying to identify primary contacts.
