National Institute of Technology, Warangal, (NITW) will organise culture fest ‘Spring Spree 17’ from March 3-5.Addressing a press conference at NIT campus here on Wednesday, student organisers said that the theme of the fest is ‘Reminisce: Bringing back the best times’. There are around 55-plus general events and nine spotlight events. The spotlight events are Allure, Q-factor, War of DJ’s, Idol, Amplitude, Gaedome, Choreo Night, Director’s Cut and NIT MUN.
The total prize money is worth Rs 8 lakh. The coordinating team has done various initiatives, namely,



Walkathon, Save Trees Campaign, One Stage and Extract. The fest will be inaugurated by actress ‘Colours Swathi’ on March 2 at 6 pm at the institute’s auditorium.
There will be a dance competition followed by a fashion show wherein models will showcase the traditional Indian attire. The cast and crew of the movie ‘Arjun Reddy’ starring actor Vijay Devarakonda and director Vanga Sandeep Reddy will interact with the participants on March 4 at 4 pm.
Bhargavi Pillai and Shalmali Kholgade will perform at the stadium on the same day.
