NIMS promotes eight faculty members as senior professors

The Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) has promoted eight of its faculty members as senior professors. 

Faculty members Dr T Roshni Paul (Pathology), Dr Shantveer G Uppin (Pathology), Dr GK Paramjyothi (Pulmonary medicine), Dr T Gangadhar (Nephrology), Dr Rajy Iyengar (Orthopaedics), Dr J Nirmala (Anaesthesia), Dr Ashima Sharma (EMD) and Dr Rahul Devraj (Urology) were promoted as senior



professors.

The NIMS announced the new promotion list after revising its earlier orders that had discrepancies. 

“Earlier orders were issued promoting and designating certain qualified and eligible professors as senior professors. It is found that some discrepancies have crept in the said orders. Hence these revised orders are issued duly reconciling and rectifying the said discrepancies,” the NIMS said.
