A two-day State conference of the Association of Medical Biochemists of India (AMBI) Telangana, featuring experts, faculty, doctors and researchers from various medical colleges and hospitals, was inaugurated at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) on Friday.
Organised by the Department of Biochemistry, NIMS, the theme of the 7th State conference of AMBI is ‘Frontiers in Lab Medicine: Total Lab Automation and Liver
Care’.
The conference will feature discussions on modern technological advancements in laboratory medicine, total lab automation, the use of AI and other latest breakthroughs in the diagnosis of liver diseases.
NIMS Director Prof Rahul Devaraj highlighted the important role of laboratory services in modern medicine. He said that total lab automation significantly enhances the accuracy, speed and quality of diagnostic tests.
