NH-65 Witnesses Traffic Jams due to Sankranti Rush

The movement of vehicles on National Highway (NH)-65 was impacted from Saturday morning with the flow of vehicles significantly increasing as the people from Hyderabad started going to their native places to celebrate Sankranti festival.

It was taking two and half hours for the vehicles to reach Panthangi toll plaza from LB

Nagar in Hyderabad.

The movement of vehicles at Panthangi toll plaza was bumper to bumper and toll fee collection was being collected through scanners of FASTag.

Out of 16 total toll gates at Panthangi toll plaza, 10 gates were allocated for vehicles going towards Vijayawada from Hyderabad side.
