Newly married Women Commits Suicide in Vikarabad Over Family Dispute

A newly married woman died by suicide at Vikarabad district due to the alleged harassment of her husband on Wednesday night.

The woman, Sirisha (21), a resident of Dharur mandal in Vikarabad got married to Shiva Lingam, a resident of Pargi mandal in the Vikarabad district six months



ago.

The family members of the woman told the police that since the time of marriage Shiva Lingam was harassing his wife on some or the other pretext. The woman slipped into depression over it and might have ended her life, said the police. 

Case booked and investigation is underway.
