Newborn Injured After Woman Delivers Baby on Hospital Floor in Bhadradri Kothagudem

A pregnant woman allegedly delivered her baby on the floor after doctors and hospital staff failed to attend to her at the Mother and Child Health Centre at Ramavaram in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Friday.

According to reports, the woman, identified as Bhavani from Dammapet, had arrived at the government Mother and Child Health Centre



after experiencing labour pains. However, her family alleged that despite informing the medical staff, she was not attended to on time.

Unable to receive immediate medical assistance, Bhavani reportedly gave birth while standing inside the hospital premises. During the delivery, the newborn fell to the floor and sustained serious injuries.
