Newborn Dies at Nalgonda Government Hospital

A newborn died following delivery at the Nalgonda Government Hospital, with the infant’s family members alleging medical negligence. 

According to reports, Kambampati Kavitha was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday. The family members said doctors initially waited for a day, stating that a normal delivery was expected. 

On Thursday, doctors reportedly performed a Caesarean section after informing the family that the baby’s heartbeat was not



normal.

The family members alleged that they had informed the nurses about the deteriorating condition of the newborn baby. 

However, they claimed that the nurses told them that the doctors would arrive in the morning and provided treatment in the meantime. 

Following the death of the newborn, the family members staged a protest in front of the hospital, alleging that negligence on the part of the doctors and hospital staff had led to the infant’s death.
