Newborn baby dies in community health centre of Mancherial

A couple has alleged that their newborn baby died due to negligence by doctors at the community health centre in Bellampalli on Thursday.

Suvarna and Karan of Goleti village in Rebbena mandal, Kumram Bheem Asifabad district, accused the doctors of mishandling the



delivery. They claimed the baby died due to carelessness while being extracted from the womb and alleged that their request to shift Suvarna to a hospital in Mancherial town was ignored.

Police said a case was registered against the doctors based on Suvarna’s complaint.
