As a year passed, the No Objection Certificate (NOC) required for change of land use and transfer for construction of Osmania General Hospital (OGH) new building is still pending.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had laid foundation for construction of OGH new building on January 31, 2025. The project, being taken up with a

cost of Rs.2700 crore at Goshamhal, was to be completed in two years.

However, the change of land use issue relating to land owned earlier by the Police Department and later transferred to the Director of Medical Education (DME), is pending for issue of No Objection Certificate (NOC), as required by the MA&UD Department.
