NCDC team visits Gandhi Hospital

A team from National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), New Delhi visited Gandhi Hospital on Thursday to interact with health care workers following the spike in cases of swine flu.
The NCDC team consisting of entomologist, epidemiologist, microbiologists and experts in public health visited several swine flu wards of the hospital and interacted with the patients. The group along with senior doctors of Gandhi Hospital also reviewed the



existing protocols being followed while extending treatment to swine flu positive patients. According to hospital doctors,the NCDC doctors had expressed satisfaction over the treatment modalities being implemented in the hospital.
Meanwhile, health officials said that on Wednesday, out of the 94 samples that were tested, 15 have tested positive for swine flu. No deaths due to swine flu were reported on Wednesday, the officials added.
